From Tell el Amarna. 1891-2: excavated by William Flinders Petrie for the Egypt Exploration Fund; assigned to the EEF in the division of finds by the Egyptian government; voted to the University College, London at EEF general meeting; 1936: given to the MFA by University College, London.
