Start collecting

This relief represents a man facing left and wearing a short wig, broad collar and pendant in the form of a heart. The archaizing style of the relief, which repicates features of Old Kingdom sculpture, is typical of dynasty 26.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art (deaccessioned in the early 1950s); February 8, 1985: New York sale, Sotheby's, lot 25 (property of Stan and Linda Kovics, New York).
