Redware bowl

Start collecting

Deep bowl with nearly vertical, straight sides; round base; plain rim. Redware with red slip. Two concentric, incised bands on interior at base. Interior surface somewhat scratched. Broken, mended, and much restored in plaster.

From Giza, G 7000 X / Exp.Ph. B 8764 1/3 / BG. 455. 19?: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
