Pyxis (round box with cover)

Start collecting

The slightly concave body has a sharply projecting disc base. The lid also projects sharply and is circled with two ridges. The center of the lid is a low, truncated cone culminating in a disc handle. Probably made in Cycladic islands or Attica.
