Boat shaped [sometimes called "pelta" by Petrie]; roughly half-circle with two remaining projections, each of which is drilled with a suspension hole [third projection is broken off.] Patina or stain on one face, slight indication of wear on other face.

From Mesaid tomb 896 [M/896/1]. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
