The scene on this whitewashed redward plate is painted in shades of red and black. The body, below the rim, is decoraed with black circles. On the plate itself is a scene of a woman riding a camel. The rim is shaped in a wave pattern and the base is flat.


Date unknown: purchased by Dr. David Landau, Newton, MA at Park Bernet Galleries; sold by Dr. Landau through Grogan and Co.; purchased at Grogan and Co. auction by Dr. Jerome Eisenberg, Royal-Athena Galleries, New York; 1994: given to the MFA by Dr. and Mrs. Eisenberg. (Accession date: May 25, 1994)
