Pottery. mold for casting palmette. [Alternate Text for 72.1625-1626, 1639, 1641-1642, 36.465, 36.491:] Faience pendants and amulets were mass produced, as is shown by the many examples gathered here. The quartz paste and coloring matter was pressed into the ceramic mold, and then fired.
