The stone is fine-grained. There is a brown band near the top. The base is flat. The rim is very roughly worked. It is slightly chipped on the edges. Otherwise, it is complete and in good condtion.

Provenance

From Mesaid (Mesa'eed), tomb 155? M/155? seems to be marked as 155 on object, but not on tomb card. 1910: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt. DF notes that the object does not look Predynastic.
