On the back of the mirror, ivy-leaf, dolphin, wave and ogee molding patterns are arranged in concentric rings inward to a filleted head (of Helios) surrounded by tongues of flame. Light olive green patina with areas of lighter green corrosion.

By 1892: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Said to have come from Cossenza, Italy. 1892.); 1895: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren for $ 29,857.37 (this figure is the total price for MFA 95.9-95.174)
