Miniature collared jar (Miniature shouldered jar)

Miniature collared jar with pronounced high shoulder, collared rim and pointed base: reconstructed from sherds. Rim and base are complete, though missing a few sherds from the body. Like all vessels of this class, the jar was made entirely on the wheel and is unslipped.

From Giza, G 4540 A, chamber. G 14 Pot 13. 1913: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
