Lamp

Start collecting

A lamp with circular body, no handle, rounded nozzle. Concave base within circle. Three ridges encircle the shoulder rim. On the slightly depressed discus is a band of rays, then plain bands encircling the filling-hole.

By date unknown: with Alessandro Fausti (said to be from the necropolis of Porta Salaria); May 4, 1888: purchased by R. Lanciani from Alessandro Fausti; purchased by MFA from R. Lanciani, 1888, for $493.92 (this figure is the total price of MFA 88.538–88.644 and 89.9–89.31)
