Fragment of ivory or bone, possibly originally an inlay piece. Broken in half, cracked; encrusted with dirt and white deposit. Joins with object: 11.269. See also B967 and B968.


From Mesaid (Mesa'eed) tomb 30 [M/30]. 1910: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt. (Tomb card missing for grave 30, as of 6/04. See photos B967, B968). (Accession date: March 2, 1911)
