Horse harness ornament

Silver horse bridle ornament. Lion's head in high repoussé relief. Three holes for attachment to flat surface. Nose crushed. Slightly corroded. The lion represented Apedemak the lion-headed god of war of Meroe. See 24.1057-1064.
