Rectangular block, in two pieces. The stone is remarkable as being a palimpsest, so to speak; there has been a hasty erasure of earlier letters, leaving a rough surface. "The people and the Roman negotiatores Gaius Caesar the son of Augustus, princeps iuventutis, and consul."
