White marble head from a kneeling statuette of Amenhotep II. He is wearing the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. It is broken at the neck. There is a back pillar behind the head.

Provenance

From Hu (Diospolis Parva), debris in Roman cemetery. Petrie excavations for the Egypt Exploration Fund, 1899. Voted to the MFA.
