Between 1865 and 1870: purchased in Baghdad by Tom Lynch; by descent (?) to Blosse Lynch, Ireland; 1924: sold to Feuardent, Paris, through Gejou (letter from E. a. Wallis Budge to C. H. Hawes, February 2, 1927); 1926: purchased by the MFA for $25,158.75. (Accession Date: December 2, 1926)
