Head of a goddess, with hair coiled in masses over a narrow fillet, above which, broad flat fillet and wreath; two short corkscrew curls hang at the left side, and traces of an original three at each side remain. Very slight evidence of red pigment in the hair.

From Tarentum; by 1930: with Dr. Hirsch; purchased by MFA from Dr. Hirsch, January 2, 1931 for $ 950.00 (this is the total price for MFA 31.6-31.8)
