Two rings are set off with rope pattern scroll and bud at the top. A sleeping dog is curled up beneath. The lower edge is rough. Dull green patina.

By 1887: with Luigi Boccanera (said to be from the sanctuary of Diana at Nemi); March 25, 1888: purchased by R. Lanciani from Luigi Boccanera; purchased by MFA from R. Lanciani, 1888, for $493.92 (this figure is the total price of MFA 88.538–88.644 and 89.9–89.31)
