Fragmentary tall shoulder jar

The surface is rough. There are narrow horizontal bands of opaque white. Handles are modeled on the shoulders. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and inverted. It was drilled with a borer. It is broken into nine fragments. It is broken and mended. Fragments are missing.

Provenance

From Giza, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple. excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
