According to MFA Register of Pottery and Porcelain, no. 5, one of a group of objects (87.422-87.434): all from Cos and the neighboring islands; by 1887: with M. A. Carandonis; purchased by MFA from M. A. Carandonis, December 6, 1887, for $ 110.00 (this is the total price for MFA 87.422-87.437)
