Findspot Information: Presumably el-Amarna, royal tomb or wadi. Purchased from C. Abner. The object was was purchased from C. Abner on April 14, 1965. It is well known. It was in the travelling exhibition "Akhenaten and Nefertiti" (Brooklyn/Detroit 1973-74) and is also published in the monograph on the objects from the Royal Tomb at el-Amarna (Martin 1974, pp. 55-55, no. 137, pl. 36).
