Start collecting

Fish-shaped; with suspension hole. Very finely carved; only one small chip on bottom edge; no interior details. Tail distinct from body and splayed. No evidence of wear.


From Shurafa (north of Quft), (Lythgoe's excavations; December, 1900.) Exp. Ph. O.S. B 1037. Brought from Harvard camp 1947: Excavated by the Harvard University–Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
