Finger ring

The burial in this tomb was an intact adult. This ring was located on the right hand of the deceased. Several other silver rings were found near the body. This ring has a round, raised bezel with a circular, glass element set in the metal.

From Meroe, Beg. W 390. February 1923: Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
