Woman cooking standing over a stove (?) on one corner of which is a small lamp. The food being prepared (fish?) is painted black. Top of stove yellow. Woman has bracelet painted red, on left arm. Base put together with slight restoration at left side.

By date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: Bought in Athens & said to have come from Eretria. Would have been imported from Tanagra.); 1897: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren for $ 25,000.00 (this figure is the total price for MFA 97.285-97.442 and 97.1104)
