Fibula

Start collecting

Fibula in the form of a semi-circular bow with five beaded ridges. Catch-plate a flat tab folded under bow end with a knob on either side and incised dots and lines. Pin missing from root at other end which has rust marks indicating pin was probably of iron. Light gray-green patina.
