Faience double cartouche of Aspelta

Blue faience double cartouche inscribed with two names of King Aspelta, each surmounted by the double feathers of Ma'at and disc, and each standing on an "nb" sign. Broken and mended, slivers missing, distorted in baking.

From Nuri, pyramid VIII, northwest foundation deposit. 1918: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
