Gold and enamel ear stud. Raised Hathor head in center surrounded by inlay. Granulated single band around the edge. Small gold wire loop soldered to bottom of stud.

From Meroe: tomb W 179, in a bronze box. 1922: Excavated by the Harvard University-Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of the Sudan. (Accession date: February 1, 1922)
