By 1868 or earlier: said to have been found by an Armenian farmer in his vineyard, a few miles northeast of Aintab (Gaziantep) on the way to Doliche in the Syrian Commagene; by 1868: given to George R. Nutting by a Dr. Nersis in Aintab; date unknown: George Nutting gave it to Rev.
