Drinking cup (kylix)

The interior of the cup is decorated with a tondo composition in the red figure technique. The scene featurs a young lady wearing a Doric dress (peplos), gesturing towards a large water vessel (hydria) which sits on the ground. Condition: Handles are restored.

By date unknown: with Edward Perry Warren (according to Warren's records: found in a tomb near Cape Zoster with 00.356); February 1900: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren
