Drinking bowl of Persian type. On bottom, rosette, bordered by eight palm leaves. On body, pattern of long pointed leaves and palm leaves, with band of small circles above. On shoulder, egg and dart pattern, with leaves for every other "egg," and striations above.

By date unknown: said to have been found at Palaikastro, Crete; by 1948: with Spink & Son (Canada), Ltd., Montreal, Quebec, Canada (acquired from the Seltman Collection); purchased by MFA from Spink & Son (Canada), Ltd., March 11, 1948, for $ 480.00
