Deep straight-sided bowl

It is made of fine-grained dark gray basalt. The base is flat and small, and the rim is plain. The rim is slightly incurved rim. It is in good condition except for a small fragment broken from the rim.

From Zawiyet el-Aryan, grave 103. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: October 19, 1911)
