Copper pin, terminating in a disk, ornamented with a central sun-face, and life plant guarded by affronted griffins below and winged ibexes above. A part of the right side of the disc is broken off and missing

From Luristan. December 1939, purchased in Tehran by Dr. Erich B. Schmidt; 1941, given to the MFA by the University of Pennsylvania Museum and the Oriental Institute. (Accession date: May 08, 1941)
