Cylindrical beaker

The stone is brown-veined and fine-grained. The base is flat, and the rim is missing. It was drilled with a stone borer. Only the base and lower body of the beaker remain.


From Zawiyet el-Aryan, grave 132. 1910-11: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: October 19, 1911)
