Mythological scene; gods in combat. A bearded nude god wearing horned crown and seated on "mountain" is menaced by another nude and bearded god, also wearing a horned crown and holding a mace. A third nude and bearded god holds a bull man by one horn and tail.

Provenance

1936: Purchased by the MFA through Prof. Robert A. Pfeiffer.* (Accession date: April 2, 1936) *40 seals, 36.177-36.216, were purchased as a group for $500.
