Neo-Babylonian Early Cut Style. The spear symbol of Marduk decorated with ribbons; a sacred tree surmounted by a winged disk; an eight-pointed star above a rhomb; a bird and above its back a staff supporting seemingly a double crescent. At top and bottom single lines form a border.

1936: Purchased by the MFA through Prof. Robert A. Pfeiffer.* (Accession date: April 2, 1936) *40 seals, 36.177-36.216, were purchased as a group for $500.
