An inscription is incised on the exterior. The base is flat, and the rim is rolled and everted. It is broken and mended. The rim and base are chipped. Small fragments missing.

From Giza, Menkaura (Mycerinus) Valley Temple. 1911: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession date: March 2, 1911)
