Obverse: Head of Athena to right, wearing crested helmet. Reverse: Athena (or a warrior?) standing to right, in Palladium pose, shield on her left arm and truncated spear in her right hand. On each side, Greek letters. (see media screen for Greek inscription)


By 1962: with Edward Gans, 10 Rock Lane, Berkeley 8, California (Gans List 28, Spring 1962, no. 6780); April 11, 1962: purchased by MFA from Edward Gans for $ 514.50 (this is the total cost of 62.288–62.316).
