Obverse: Laureate, draped, cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. Before face: I Inscription in Greek. Reverse: Wreath. Inscriptions in Greek within wreath and around it divided by flowers (?).


1909: purchased at Adalia by Arthur M. Woodward; by 1962: with Glendining & Co., Ltd., 7 Blenheim Street, New Bond Street, London, W.1 (sale of the A. M. Woodward Collection, September 27, 1962); purchased at the Woodward sale by Robert E. Hecht, Jr.; purchased by MFA from Robert E. Hecht, Jr., February 13, 1963d.
