Clothing attachment with head of Aphrodite

Start collecting

One of a group of three votive "shields" or discs, probably for attachment to clothing (see 1972.201 and 1972.202). A female head (Aphrodite ?) is in frontal relief; the border is formed from beaded wire. There is a loop in the center back for attachment.
