Seated figure of a cat on a papyrus column; perfect (except for tip of right ear). Engraved decorations include scarab on top of head, broad collar around neck, and an aegis necklace on chest.

From the collection of George John Webb (ex-coll. Alfred Mitchell Innes). Purchased through Spink & Son at Christie's on June 26, 1952 (no. 68, illus.) for $1,093.72. (Accession Date: January 1, 1952)
