Canopic jar disk lid

This limestone lid for a canpic jar is disk-shaped, characteristic of the Old Kingdom. Some very small chips are missing from the outer edges.

From Giza G 2353 B. 1912: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt. (Accession Date: December 4, 1913)
