By 1899: with Edward Perry Warren (according to J. D. Beazley, Lewes House Gems, no. 128: Warren bought the ring in 1899 from Dr. W. Hayes Ward of New York who had acquired it in or near Bagdad while a missionary); April 5, 1926: loaned by Edward Perry Warren to MFA (as 108.26); November 17, 1927: purchased by MFA from Edward Perry Warren for $ 161,000.00 (this figure is the total price for MFA 27.647-27.761)
