Bowl with flaring sides

Start collecting

Large convex bowl with flaring sides, slightly rolled and everted rim, and narrow, flat base. Red-brownware with thick red slip. Surface eroded interior and exterior. Unevenly shaped. Broken, repaired, and restored with plaster. Five total fragments.

From Giza, G 7000 X / Exp.Ph. B 8411 (lower left) / BG. 452. 1934: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Egypt.
