From Bubastis, great temple of Bastet. April 1887: excavated by Edouard Naville for the Egypt Exploration Fund; given to the Egypt Exploration Fund by the Egyptian government; December 22, 1887: voted to the MFA at the Fifth Annual General Meetng of the Egypt Exploration Fund. (Accession Date: April 1, 1888)
