Black-topped redware beaker

Black-topped Redware beaker, tall and slender with a flat base, and a plain flaring rim. The surface is in very good condition, with nice colors. The vessel is incomplete and in three fragments. Has been repaired.

From Mesaid (Mesa'eed) tomb 52, no. 2 [M/52/2]. 1910: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Egypt.
