Start collecting

Black-topped jar with a red polished body; the exterior is slipped and burnished. This utilitarian vessel shows considerable wear at the rim. It was broken into many fragments but has been reassembled.

From Kerma, K 446, no. 1. 1914: excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; 1920: assigned to the MFA by the government of the Sudan.
