Appliqué in the form of a fantastic beast

Start collecting

Silver ornament representing a "chimera," a winged, four-legged beast with a helmeted human head above the creature's lion head. The curling tail ends in the head of an animal, perhaps a griffin. It was probably attached to a garment.
