Amulets of papyrus columns (wadj)

Start collecting

Three light green amazonite (a,c,e) and two of dark red jasper (b,c). Part of amulets mounted together taken from the mummy of Princess Mernua. The amazonite amulets are 23-3-765, the jasper amulets are 23-3-766.

From Beg. S. 85, Princess Mernua [Excav. date] March, 1923, Exp. Ph. A 3164, 5/1-5. Excavated by the Harvard University-Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA by the government of Sudan.
