Faded blue glazed faience statuette of lion-headed female, holding stick in left hand. Broken and mended; one ear and crown missing; no suspension ring. (Found with feet broken off - 11/03).

Provenance

From el-Kurru, pyramid 52 (tomb of Queen Nefrukekashta). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: January 1, 1924)
