Amulet of Pataikos

This amulet is of a blue glazed faience standing figure with scarab on his head and a suspension ring at the back of the neck. It may represent Pataikos.

Provenance

From el-Kurru, pyramid 53 (tomb of Queen Tabiry). 1919: excavated by the Harvard University–Boston Museum of Fine Arts Expedition; assigned to the MFA in the division of finds by the government of Sudan. (Accession date: January 1, 1924)
